Joe,

You should contact Joe Lee and Chris Hamilton, as they now are the experts in getting the Alameda site, insurance, bathrooms, permits etc. It is fairly complicated to get a permit. The site rental at Alameda is around $3000.

Try Gabe at SGS Motorsports (used to be Strasse). He worked for Automotion for many years and should know what you want.

Since we want to encourage members to TT/DE AND to Club Race..... I propose that as a start, we use the PCA Club Racing National rules to class the super classes which are GTA, GTB,GT-1 thru GT-6 and GTP-1 thru GTP-6 at the GGR TT events. These are based on engine size, weight, etc. and have passed ...

YES.....put an announcement on the main home page of GGR as the first Groundschool will be on March 7, which is past the Tech dates.

I would like to add my THANKS to Matt and Carl AND all of the others that helped out to make the GGR 08 Autox Season a success. It was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to participating next year.

What do you mean slightly.....??? You should feel a lot better! For whatever reason (wind, workers, vibration from cars) the beam sender can get a little turned. Fortunately, the old timer (the one used Sat.) has a test to get the signal strength from start and finish. We could see that the finish w...

Dan,

Not moved, just turned a little bit so that they were pointing at each other. The crate that the beam was on maybe was ROTATED about an inch.......

Dan, The problem with the radio at the timing slip person was that it was set on the wrong channel....9/13 instead of 9/12...close enough to get a signal but it was weak. We figured it out and it was fine in the afternoon. One of the problems in the morning was that the wireless at the finish would ...
