Re: Rules proposals for 2013 season...

I was just thinking about a slight tweak to the car number rule again and found this post (to my knowledge, no one has ever paid to reserve a car number). Here is what I found in the rule book: http://www.pca-ggr.org/files/pdf/GGR%202011%20AX-DE-TT%20Rules.pdf 1.0 INTRODUCTION e. The Drivers' Events...

Re: Upcoming GGR Track Weekend Announcements

Well over 100 attendees so far, I wouldn't want to be the person that misses this event. :)

See you at the track!

Re: Open to non-Porsche owners?

Since it sounds like you have some track experience, I would suggest that you contact the Chief Driving Instructor. His contact information is on the official GGR website at the link below. There is also some information regarding the waiver policy for those with previous track experience with other...

Thanks John! I did make some what I consider non-substantial modifications from what I sent last year.

Re: Proposed new/updated DE/TT rules for 2011

Rationale: The variety of participants is much greater leading to more demand for assigned car numbers so we propose this rule to simplify the administration of them and better meet our members' requests.. Proposed 2.6T Driver's Education/Time Trial [Revised] d. Car numbers are assigned by the Regi...

Re: 2010 rules proposals

You could get the other C4S drivers together and create your own class.

We can still do that, right?

Re: A list of club approved/suggested repair shops bay area.

Welcome Drew! I am not sure where you are located, but a good place to start would be the sponsors for our events. You can find a list of those on the Official GGR website: http://www.pca-ggr.org (lower left on the home page). If Concord is within driving distance for you, I would personally recomme...

Re: PCA-GGR Infineon in October! – All Porsche Drivers Welcome!

Reminder: Take advantage of Early Bird pricing by registering before September 28th! GGR's driver's education program is the perfect opportunity to learn car control and to go fast in a safe environment. On the street you barely scratch the surface of what your car can do, but at a driver's ed event...

.... It's the stealing-the-Porsche part that will be challenging.
That would give new meaning to "Drive it like you stole it".

Re: PCA-GGR Infineon in October! – All Porsche Drivers Welcome!

Hi 211guy - Ground School and/or equivalent experience is part of the process. However, the current requirements for Certification include completing two clean events (no offs or other incidents) in a Porsche. Hey Clemson - what do you think about loaning out the 914 for a weekend? :) Thanks again,

Re: PCA-GGR Infineon in October! – All Porsche Drivers Welcome!

First - thanks to all for the interest in our events! Here is the deal on driving non-Porsche track worthy vehicles at our events. If you are a certified GGR driver then you can drive whatever you'd like. It was all Porsche for quite some time, but we changed a couple of years ago to facilitate memb...
