Re: Purchasing a helmet (locally in SF Bay area)

Hi, I've just signed up for my first AX session next weekend and, although I know helmets are available for loan, would actually like to pick up my own as I'm intending to start doing more regular weekend track / AX outings. I know where to look online but I'm looking to find a local Bay area retai...

I used Hawks HPS for my street car, pretty good for the AX.
For the track, Pagid yellow, or PFC pads will be my choice.

Re: new rule document

In TAP Plastics, they sell magnetic sheet 2x1 (feet) for ~$8. You can trim it.
And they also sell vinyl number sets that you can put on the magnetic sheet.
However, the largest set is 6-inch tall. Slightly smaller than the requirement.

Re: 2010 AX season

Thanks Dan... got it. Somehow, we might want to disable the old system soon. It could be confusing. And I think there might be people who signed up for the coming event, without knowing about the new point system. ie: a 2006 Carrera4S in AX11 class a couple 2003 Carrera4S in AX12 class a 2005 Boxste...

Re: 2010 AX season

My points are all different from a few days ago.

My 1997 Track Boxster was AX8, now it is AX10.
My 1999 Street Boxster was AX12, now it is AX14.

I already signed up the event with the higher class. Can I still change it at the event?

I hope the HR will not give me some trouble. One of the people I invited is the VP of HR. :mrgr...

Any motel close to the track with reasonable price?
I rented the garage, but it might be cold to stay in the garage at night.

Re: PCA-GGR Infineon in October! – All Porsche Drivers Welcome!

Hi, I also have a lady friend who drives a 09 M3. She has been AX with GGR for a few times now, and really interested to try the track. And I have been telling her how great are GGR Instructors. She tried to register for the last GGR event, and was turned down. If we GGR allows non-Porsche cars at t...
