Cherries Jubilee

I was going to split a garage for the 3 days with a friend, but work is now getting in the way for him. Would anyone be interested in sharing the garage with me? Cost is half of the $200 fee.

December 2011 Nugget

Did I miss getting the December Nugget this month, or are we skipping Dec. to save "costs". :)

Re: Sept AX Course

Last November's course was an 78 second course for middle of the pack. We had 4 runs in the morning, and I had to leave after the morning session, which was about 2PM. Only 2 runs in the afternoon for the about 50% that stayed.

Clemson, I don't have the answer to your question, but I have the photos that I took up here.

Re: June AX Photos And Event Thoughts

That pothole started in the morning. I was in the red run group (second run group) and noticed the pothole midway through the morning runs.

Good job Joe & Chris on a smooth event (except for one pothole)!

Thanks Ken. Was your best time 60.049 +1? Doesn't look like your first three times are yours.

Re: AX #1 Results posted

I also notice the best time for several people are times with a cone, and the time isn't adjusted as in a second added.

Re: AX #1 Results posted

Timing went much better!!! Still curious, the times for my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th runs are not my times. Off by 22 to 6 seconds, & I didn't have a DNF.

Re: Core AX Setup Workers???

Finally had Mark install new torsion bars & spring plates, and my first alignment in 10 years. Bumps me two classes, will it get me two seconds?

+1 Monterey Historics trumps GGR AutoX, and LPR is on Sunday. Is it too late to move both a week earlier?

Re: AX at Great America

There were about 10 GGR regulars on Sunday. I liked the course, and I think the size of the lot will work fine. I also like the way they (AAS) use orange cones with yellow pointer cones. It helped break up the "sea of cones", although they did use a minimum amount of cones for the course very effect...

I believe SVR on Sat, GGR on Sun. Next question, where is it?

Re: Alameda #2 carnage.... errr conage...

Save this course map for the next charity event where we pay a dollar per cone. Imagine how much we would have brought in yesterday... It was fun, but frustrating.
