GGR AX#02 Prelim Results

Post by WhuGmiT » Mon Apr 23, 2018 11:08 am

Hey there Autocrossers -

Yesterday (Sunday 22April) was an absolutely beautiful day in Marina, perfect for AX'ing!
I sure enjoyed seeing everyone and joining in the fun day of slaloming.

Congrats to AndrewB, DaveD and EdH for taking the top 3 spots overall.

Without further ado, here are the preliminary results....

Joe, welcome to the 2018 season. Good to see you one event ahead of schedule.

It is happening right in front of our own eyes - transformation of Andrew Blyholder from a human to a super human. Just in time for infinity war!

Thanks!
It was great seeing my AX friends and giving my now 50 year old car a bit of a work out.

In regards to AndrewB....
Yes, he sure is impressive with that 914.
On the grid he uses his attention to detail to adjust his plan for the next run. On the course, he has the ability to execute his plan with the precision of a surgeon. It sure is fun to watch him work the course.

Now with the AX chairman duties removed from his shoulders, he is able to focus entirely on driving. We are witnessing the results. Good job Andrew, keep it up!

And of course a BIG thank you to EdH for stepping up into the GGR AX Chair this year.

Cheers,
-WhuGmiT
