porsche 911 turbo

Post by peerkhan » Sun Aug 03, 2008 10:11 am

I am looking for a used 911 Porsche Turbo model from 2001 to 2005 coupe with tiptronic. Which of the models year
is the best for resale ? Any expert suggestions would be very appreciated.

No matter what .. I think resale value on the 996 turbo will always be a problem, Complicated car and there was quite a few of them made.. it wont ever be a collectors car ...

Totally agreed with Larry.

I am no expert on 911 Turbo cars or any car (even I still own the website http://www.911turbo.com/ )
Well, just buy anything pleasing to your eyes. And drive fast on AX courses or the tracks.
00-04 996 Turbo prices are continuing to go down right now. If you just want to drive it... it is perfectly fine.

If you want something to keep for a long time. And something will appreciating in price (for ROI).... try 95-98 993 Turbo. Sorry there were no automatic for 993 Turbo. They were the last model of the air-cooled engine Porsche cars. It got to be something special. And air-cooled engineering to the max.

Enjoy!

Thank you for your suggestions. It is good to know about resale value. Do you have any suggestion for the model year
from 2001 to 2004 coupe tiptronic. i have burned lot of Clutchs in SanFrancisco on Stick even though it is FUN to drive but the repairs are very serious. My main reason for automatic is not to burn Clutches and Transmission ? and easy to maintain.
