If anyone happens to look here, the good news is that http://www.motorsportreg.com (reg for DE/TT) and http://www.clubregistration.net (reg for Club racing) are up!

If anyone wants to pop the hood for me I can potentially poke around see if I can get the scripts working again.

Still broken. I sent Paul Larson an e-mail a couple days ago, but apparently he hasn't been able to fix it yet.

well this is really going to be helping us get our events populated if folks can't read about them, register for them, or even find them.... :(

this is a shame that the website for GGR (center of Hi technology) can't even run properly. :?:

Joe, I didn't compile the results. I think you should probably try to contact Andrew, or post in the autocross section here.

To All Members,

I was out of town this week and the website went down. I was down in Los Angles for five days helping to my Daughter get ready for College. I do not own a laptop and have no need for one, but I sure wish I had one for this trip.

The software the website uses is Drupal and is a free content management program. It runs using php code, which is also free. Because this is free, there are a few things that can case problems. I went through the work of up-dating the site to the newest releases before the trip. I also copied the files I needed onto a flash drive. I then crossed my fingers.

I noticed the site was down one morning in the Lobby of the hotel on my Daughter’s laptop. I tried repairing it but my Daughter’s laptop runs on Vista and this did not work. I then used my Daughter’s computer college center but this was not working either do to the limited free time I had. I then tried the Hotel Lobby computer and this was also impossible. Next, I went to the Carsen City Library and Library computers do not let you move files very easy. I finally went back to my Daughter’s Computer Center with the flash card and I got the site running.

Sorry for the problems. Not having the right tools made the job hard.

Works OK now. Still trying things to get a more stable
site. The site has grown from 400 people a day last year
to over 1,000 people a day. That means that there are a lot more
hackers tring to screw things up.

Hackers, are they trying funny stuff with your scripts, or is it like a DoS type of thing?
