I seem to recall with the previous classification system, if we used other than stock wheels with offsets greater than 1/4" of the stock wheel, we had to declare "spacers" and take the hit.
I don't see it in the current system - only points for wider wheels. Is it assumed that with the 25 pts/inch increase, the different offsets are irrelevant?
I put spacers down because of the increased offsets of aftermarket wheels, but I can't reconcile it in print. Is there an implied penalty or should we address this item as a factor in a footnote in the classification system explanations for spacers?
