PROPOSED: REPLACE THE POINTS SYSTEM WITH THE PCA COMPETITION AX RULES.
REASON: 1. Except for highly modified cars, classes are logically grouped by similar model and year ranges.
2. Class progression of these similar groups of cars are based on clearly defined allowed modifications instead
of a complex point allocation
3. The PCA rules are always current. They are reviewed yearly based on historical results, input from members nationally
and for new models.
4. The PCA autocross rules will likely be adopted by the other Regions in Zone 7 and will be used for the Zone 7 Series.
5. Class groupings are defined for small, medium and large regions to ensure competitive classes.
The complete text of the PCA rules can be viewed and/or downloaded on the PCA web site.
