The first of two GGR-sponsored rallies is Saturday 10/7, starting from Carlsen Porsche in Redwood City. The route covers approximately 100 miles of scenic and/or interesting roads with the finish back in Redwood City. The event is open to all types of cars and beginners are encouraged to enter. The only requirement is that you must have both a driver and a navigator. Teams should bring a digital watch, clip board, and pens.
Coyote Run is a Time-Speed-Distance type rally. The instructions have been written so that no one should get lost along the route, but there are attempts to throw teams off time in places to make it interesting for the experts. If you've never run a rally before, this is a good one to try. You don't even need to classify your car and ground school is not required for anyone.
